Rewards let you turn your Smyles into real things you can enjoy, from a drink or a snack at one of our outlets to digital rewards like raffle or prize draw entries.
We've made collecting rewards quick and simple. There's no PIN for staff to type in and nothing to scan. You activate the reward yourself and show your screen, and the whole thing takes a few seconds, which keeps things moving even at busy times.
Collecting a physical reward
Redeem your reward in the app as normal. You'll get a confirmation email, which is simply your receipt.
When you're at the counter and ready, open the reward and tap Activate. Wait until you're actually there, because a countdown starts straight away.
Show the live screen to a staff member while the timer's still running. That's it.
Once the countdown runs out, the reward is used and can't be activated again, so don't tap Activate until you're at the counter.
Staff will see a countdown on your phone, such as "Active - 4:32 left", along with the name of the reward. As long as the timer is still running, it's valid and they'll hand it over. A printed email, a screenshot, or a screen showing the reward as already used won't be accepted, only a live, ticking countdown.
Digital rewards
Some rewards, like raffle or prize draw entries, are digital. These are applied the moment you redeem them, so there's nothing to activate and nothing to show at an outlet. The activate-and-show steps only apply to physical rewards you collect in person..
