Smyles (pronounced "Smiles") are a common unit of effort in the Myles platform. Every time you record an activity, you will be given some Smyles, which you can see in the rightmost tab of the app.

Some of our virtual challenges will use Smyles to calculate your progress; others will use distance or duration.

Smyles allows us to compare different activities in a fair way, which ensures that no one is left out. The more physically intense an activity is, the more Smyles you'll be awarded for it.
